Emerging Agriculture Technology Proficiency Winner Announced

Jacob Schindler may have just saved the forestry industry $15.5 billion. Using the scientific method and knowledge he gained from his agriscience classes, he developed a technology that uses helium to control the pest, kudzu. Treating test fields, he practiced his methods in four phases before concluding his research. Jacob is a member of the Lowndes FFA Chapter and his advisors are James Corbett, Quinton Hadsock and Spence Taylor. This award is sponsored by Ag Leader Technology and BASF.
