Teaching the Next Generation

The Winnemucca FFA Chapter in Nevada is helping teach the next generation about agriculture. Every year, they help Farm Bureau host Ag Day. Over 200 third graders come to the event where they rotate through the booths to learn about the different sectors of the agriculture industry.

Winnemucca’s role is to help present at the booths and assist in set-up and tear down. They are passionate about teaching young kids about where their food comes from.

Kelsey Litchfield talked with Winnemucca FFA members about their involvement with Ag Day.
