Repurposing FFA Banners for Many Items is a Sustainable Choice

A new partnership began with the People for Urban Progress when the National FFA organization saw the need to repurpose banners from events and programs throughout the year, including the National FFA Convention and Expo.

Using banners and scraps from the National FFA blue corduroy jacket, the organization creates products including keychains, bags, wallets, and even sunglass cases. Turae Dabney, executive director of the non-profit organization, says approximately 90% of the products are made from repurpose items, including the straps.
