Patrick Arkfeld’s passion for livestock started when he received two Duroc gilts at age 10. Since then, he has grown his enterprise to 24 sows and interest in the field of science.
The Nebraskan has spent more than 1,000 hours studying several areas of the swine industry including waste management, meat quality and piglet health.
