Daniella Renae Powell of the Estill County FFA chapter in Irvine, Kentucky, is a student worker at her school greenhouse and a seasonal worker at a local floral shop and greenhouse. When she began her jobs, she was given simple tasks like watering and fertilizing. As she developed more knowledge from her horticulture classes, she was given more responsibilities and the opportunity to also develop sales and service skills.
