Agriculture is a family business for many, but Joseph Pulver comes from a lineage with a unique specialty: concrete. His successful business led to being a Star in Agribusiness Finalist as a Randolph-Cambria-Friesland FFA member in Wisconsin.
Pulver works on a wide variety of projects for his community related to agriculture and residential including sheds, driveways, sidewalks and garages. In May, Pulver graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with a degree in business management. He says his future plans are to keep expanding his operations until he has saved up enough money to buy in and become a partner in his dad’s concrete company, Middleton Construction.
The American Star Awards are presented to FFA members who demonstrate outstanding agriculture skills and competencies through completion of a supervised agricultural experience (SAE) among many other qualifications.
Pulver shares more about his award-winning experiences and his business in an interview with Broadcast Desk Intern Michelle Stangler.
