While the end goal was to bring together solutions for a student-led committee, a Kentucky native and chair Jackson Baird learned more from others perspectives throughout the many discussions.
Baird served as chair of the Committee on Nominating Committee Evaluation where he led a group of delegates through evaluating the selection and role of committee members in the National Officer selection process. The committee recommendations will be voted on by the 475 delegates before being sent to the National FFA Board of Directors.
He shares what the committees conclusions were and what he learned from the process with Broadcast Desk Intern Michelle Stangler.
