Sam L. Smith is an upcoming country music singer and past National FFA talent runner-up in 2019 and 2021 and returns as a judge for the contest. Smith’s song, “Blue Jackets” was a way of giving back to the organization that’s provided many opportunities, including horse judging. While he’s a busy college student, Smith is also performing live and is in conversations with the American Idol.
