Former NFL player, Jason Brown, traded the football field for the farm field. He is a graduate of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he attended on an athletic scholarship. While he was there, Brown met his wife, Dr. Tay Brown. After graduating from college, Brown was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens then later played for the St. Louis Rams. After years of being in the NFL, Brown took a leap of faith and walked away. Brown moved backed to the North Carolina and purchased a 1,000 acre farm. Brown uses the yields from his farm, First Fruits Farm, to help out those in need. 
He enjoys raising his family on a farm and teaching young people how to sow a seed and reap a harvest. Brown ultimately incorporated First Fruits Farm into the Mission of “Wisdom for Life” by sharing the faith in his heart first and serving neighbors with love. “Never stop giving, never stop growing and never stop loving,” says Brown.
