Mark Timm of Bainbridge, Ind., has been awarded the VIP Citation by the National FFA Organization, recognizing his significant contributions and dedication to FFA and agricultural education.
For more than 12 years, Timm has been an individual contributor to the National FFA Foundation and National FFA Organization, supporting and leading the way for the Matching Leadership Fund. In addition, his company, Cottage Garden, Inc., has contributed in-kind awards for Honorary American FFA Degree recipients for more than five years. Timm served on the Individual Giving Council for seven years and served as chair for two years. He also served as the chair for the National FFA Foundation Board of Trustees in 2013.
“The VIP Citation recognizes the dedicated individuals who contribute to the FFA mission of student success through their hard work and cooperation,” the organization’s CEO Dwight Armstrong said. “Without such strong and outstanding commitment, FFA would not be able to help build strong character in its members, who in turn build strong families, communities and industries.”
