Nora Jo Faris of the Concordia FFA Chapter in Missouri works hard to communicate the importance of agriculture to legislators, policymakers and consumers. In March 2011, she was invited to speak with a group of industry leaders at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Since then, Faris has expanded her communication efforts to include social media campaigns, legislative education efforts, multimedia broadcasts and more.
