Bret Brown from the Marion FFA Chapter in Texas was named the winner of the Extemporaneous Speaking Career Development Event Nov. 1, 2013 at the National FFA Convention in Louisville. Brown says the CDE gave him skills in preparation and thinking on his feet as well as developing critical speaking skills. Our own Spencer Chase has more.
