Diversified Livestock Production – Entreprenuership/Placement- sponsored by Tractor Supply Company and Wahl Clipper Corporation
Ashley Orr of the Waupaca FFA Chapter in Wisconsin has an agriscience teacher for a mother and a livestock farmer for a father so it wasn’t a surprise that she chose to be active in the agricultural community. With her father, she raises and markets sheep, beef cattle, swine and chickens. She is responsible for the feeding, watering, bedding and fencing of the animals. Orr also utilizes rotational grazing methods on 26 acres to provide the protein forage necessary to finish livestock. She is supported by her parents Michelle and Dean and her FFA advisors Jenifer Erb and Rene’ Lehman.
