Tyler Meister wins Forest Management and Products Profiency

Tyler Meister of the Reedsburg FFA Chapter in Wisconsin is the fourth generation to work in the  family sawmills.  He remarks that members of the family must have sawdust in their blood – that’s how deep their passion runs.  Meister has done every job possible, from stacking lumber and running to saws to operating wheel loaders and calculating output.  Eventually, he hopes to become a commercial driver so he can drive the operation’s log trucks and semis.  He is supported by his parents Mark and Debra and his FFA advisors Nick Casey and Todd Cherney. This award is sponsored John Deere and Ram Trucks.
